Submissions are open for Fringe of Colour Films 2023

Submissions to this year’s festival are now closed

We will be programming a wide range of moving image and filmed performance art for Fringe of Colour Films 2023, a hybrid arts festival based online and in Edinburgh. This includes stage performances, readings, stand-up, sketches, dance, music, documentary and animation, traditional and non-traditional films. Basically anything that falls under the banner of "moving image"! Our programme will be made up of a combination of short films and feature-length content.

Fringe of Colour Films is a platform that showcases work by Black artists and Artists of Colour who are looking for a community for their work to be in conversation with. We combine screenings with carefully considered written Responses, events and discussions. This is the first year Fringe of Colour Films will be going hybrid - the festival will run both online right here on our website and in-person in various locations around Edinburgh.
